Yes, I'm biased when it comes to talking about xDropDeadx's fics, which are always GENIUS, but I couldn't let this one go. "October" is the kind of story that happens when you ask yourself "what if...". They say that this type of phrase doesn't make history, but here it DOES. A lot. "What if" Paul was still alive? What his life would be like... especially with his wife and the new member of the family... His daughter. This is very beautiful, and the way the author works with this is very striking. So real. You almost feel like you're following the first steps of October's life (with the great feat of making a baby's life seem super interesting with very different events, thanks to the members of Slipknot, of course), his turbulent childhood until his teenage days. This fic is recommended for every Slipknot fan who, when watching the most recent shows, still looks for a certain bass player there, in that space between Jim and Chris, and wonders... "what if?"
"GOOD" and "WELL"
"Good" is an adjective. "Well" is an adverb. Ex.: The food tastes good. She speaks English well.
"PEEK," "PIQUE," and "PEAK"
"Peek" means a quick look. "Pique" means to provoke or arouse. "Peak" refers to the highest point. Ex.: Let's take a peek at the menu. Her curiosity was piqued. We reached the mountain peak at noon.

This fanfic is one of my favorites, I really love it.
nI'm a big fan of Slipknot, this was the first Slipknot fanfic I read, and I immediately liked it, she describes them as they are, she writes very well, the plot is beautiful, and the rest is just reading for fun to know. I love this fanfic. I recommend it, you won't regret it.
