I don't know if it was the track, the anime (which is one of my favorites of all time), the couple (which I've been shipping since the beginning) or my super... well, sensitive feelings; but this oneshot won me over in the first paragraph!
The way the author approached the characters' personalities was simply "authentic", I felt like I was watching an episode of the anime itself (and it's not an exaggeration to say that it could very well be an alternative ending to the work). The feelings and dramas of both are palpable as the story progresses and we can even imagine their faces in certain parts.
I highly recommend it for anyone who, like me, loved the anime and the "separative" route it took, as the author just chose another way to get to it.
"GOOD" and "WELL"
"Good" is an adjective. "Well" is an adverb. Ex.: The food tastes good. She speaks English well.
"IMPLY" and "INFER"
"Imply" means to suggest indirectly. "Infer" means to deduce or conclude from evidence. Ex.: Her silence seemed to imply disapproval. From her reaction, we can infer that she is unhappy.
