When they land in England after their disastrous trip to the United States, Simon and Baz still haven't properly talked about their heated argument on the beach across the Atlantic. During the entire flight, as he pretended to sleep, in the mind of the former Chosen only one phrase echoes - "How can you not see that I wouldn't be happy anywhere...

What if Simon somehow suspects that Baz feels something other than hatred for him still in Watford, well before the world as he knew it crumbled?
